I started this journey in January 2023 at 156 lbs. I decided I had to make a change and began intermittent fasting. In February 2023, I thought I should keep track. Clearly unimpressed with myself. In June 2023, I started with little home workouts, squats, and crunches. I got down to a weight I was much happier with, 122 lbs. I thought it was a good time to add to my workouts, little dollar store, 5 lbs weights. July 2023, I ramped up my game! Built routines off of what I was seeing other do, catering them to what I had available. This week is my 1 year anniversary of hitting the gym, and I'm so glad I started! I feel great! I'm happy with my appearance! I feel like me again. My daughter is even showing interest in the gym. Maybe one day we will build a routine together for her. This is what 18 months of work looks like!!
